This is what they are saying about us....

'Southbank Printmakers Gallery in Gabriels Wharf SE1, is celebrating its 15th Anniversary this year.

Southbank Printmakers are a co-operative of 37 artist printmakers founded in 2000 by artist and Gallery Manager, Jenny Ronay, to showcase the best in London based contemporary printmaking.
As a practicing printmaker herself, Jenny had experienced and liked the idea of the shared responsibilities and benefits of a co-operative.  She formed a steering committee with Theresa Pateman and other members, and invited a diverse selection of talented artists to join.

Many members, past and present, are internationally renowned, some are members of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers (ex-member Mychael Barratt is now President), and many show regularly in other venues including The Royal Academy, Bankside and the Mall Galleries.
Some members also teach printmaking and are themselves former students of the Royal College and the Royal Academy schools.
Chris Salmon and former member Nana Shiomi have appeared on printmaking documentaries on television.

The Gallery is in a thriving riverside location surrounded by restaurants and designer shops.  During the past fifteen years it has moved to bigger premises and held many successful outside exhibitions, including two at the Oxo Tower London, and one in Germany.

The Gallery is open almost every day throughout the year where the full extent of the wide range of images and techniques can be seen.
It is staffed by members who can answer questions and explain printmaking methods.'

We would love to see you! The Lightbox is open from 10.00 to 17.00 Tuesday to Saturday and from 11.00 to 17.00 on Sundays
