Diane Comte Frost Exhibition at SBP

From 25th March - 7th April 2019 we are lucky to be exhibiting the beautiful work of 

Diane was born in the South of France but chose London as her home and is married with three children. She was awarded the Printmaking Award last year at Kensington and Chelsea college and is a member of the Printmakers Council and well as laureate of the PmC award for 2014.

Artist statement:

I enjoy combining different techniques in the same print such as nature printing with photo etching, collagraph with dry point or lino and collagraph. The various layers make for a richer story.

My images tend to have a strong narrative: They are fragments of a story or suggest different interpretations. The lines of the text and the lines of the etchings tend to echo each other and very often I try to mix both.
