Happy to Host Hampstead Printmakers!

We are lucky to be hosting some exquisite work from our North London friends, the Hampstead Printmakers.  You will be able to see their work from Monday 5th May to Sunday 18th May so if you are at a loose end during the upcoming long weekend why not come and visit.  We are open from 11.30 to 6.30pm Sunday to Friday and from 10am to 8pm on Saturday.

Emilie Butler has produced this unusual image which is slightly dark and captures the attention.  The drama of the woman prostrate on the finely wrought pebbles.  Is she grieving?  How did she arrive there? What is happening.  Regardless of the questions it raises - it is a very succinct piece of work.
No questions to ask Angela Bloomberg about her elegant 'Water Lily'! This is a simple and delightful rendering as you can see.  The colours of the original are strong and resonant.  This is one that has to be seen to be fully appreciated.  The thumbnail does not do it justice.

Sally Platt's 'Blue Planet' embodies all the mystery and movement occurring 'out there'....If, like me, you find contemplating the infinite disturbing, you can focus instead on this stunning image which incorporates many processes to achieve that molten explosive feel.

Rebecca Denton's images are, again, best seen in the flesh.  The humourous unique take on the world of dog walking can be seen below.  Her originality and quirky work will make you smile!

Not to be missed!  So do drop in to the gallery to see these and much much more.
